The Department of Education was established in 2014 and offers an M.Ed. or Bachelors of Education is a two-year specialized program. The Department is a feeder department of all the colleges of education affiliated with CRSU, Jind. The departments provide academic inputs to the Colleges of Education by proposing Syllabi, Examination Schemes and Examiner’s Panel, etc., for future teachers in the fundamentals of teaching and instructional techniques. 

Besides many others, courses are offered in psychology, pedagogy, classroom management, cultural studies, and more areas of education. A variety of specializations have been made available to students as options from all the programs, such as literacy instruction, curriculum design, and many more. Students learn about educational staffing and research methodologies through such kinds of courses for them to be able to serve it better in the community or pursue an academic career.
