About Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Course Duration- 2 Years

Eligibility- Graduation with 50% minimum marks

The Department of Education was established in 2014 and offers a B.Ed. or Bachelors of Education is a two-year specialized program. The Department is a feeder department of all the colleges of education affiliated with CRSU, Jind. The departments provide academic inputs to the Colleges of Education by proposing Syllabi, Examination Schemes and Examiner’s Panel, etc., for future teachers in the fundamentals of teaching and instructional techniques. 

The teachers have achieved sufficient national and international recognition through the publication of research papers and articles, as well as their participation in national and international seminars and conferences. They are also dynamically and actively involved in the teaching-learning process. The Department aims to develop human resources that are qualified, competent, skilled, and socially useful. It also provides leadership and academic input to affiliated colleges.

Additionally, this certification empowers students with the knowledge and skills to develop, implement, and effectively assess educational programs. The B.Ed. encompasses topics such as management of the classroom, educational technology, as well as philosophies of teaching and learning. To be enrolled in a B.Ed. program, one has to have graduated from an accredited university. Various careers are exciting to embark upon with this degree in fields such as an educational officer and school teacher.
