An introductory course called Junior Basic Training (JBT) aims to provide pupils with a basic understanding of the Indian educational system. It equips applicants with the abilities and information needed to seek a profession in teaching. All aspiring teachers must complete this two-year program, which equips them with the fundamental academic skills needed to succeed as instructors. Lesson planning, classroom management, assessment techniques, school administration, and other aspects of teaching are among the topics that participants in this program are expected to gain both academic and practical knowledge about. Important subjects in curriculum design and educational psychology are also covered in the course. In general, the syllabus covers subjects from Hindi, English literature, science, math, and social studies. In addition to these topics, the course structure includes a number of other courses in computer science and applied sciences.

Eligibility:

Candidates must fulfill particular eligibility requirements established by the Ministry of Education & Culture in collaboration with school boards in each state or union territory in order to be eligible to apply for Junior Basic Training (JBT) in India. Among these requirements are:

Candidates need to have passed the Class 12 Senior Secondary School Exam.
In the Class 12 board exams or comparable tests, a minimum total score of 45% is necessary.
The age range is 17–28 years old.
During the application process, candidates from reserved categories should submit legitimate documentation as proof.
Rules outlining the minimal physical requirements should be established by the education boards of various states and union territories.

After submitting the first application forms, further certificates and documentation attesting to pertinent work experience may be required.

Program Duration:

The program lasts for two years. Candidates must finish and pass their tests during this time. For students that are motivated to enroll and focus on their studies, this program is great. Candidates will learn a lot of new skills in this course and face new obstacles.
